Required Items
· Handgun(s): Firearms must be legally owned or possessed and transported in accordance with applicable laws.
· Ammunition: 100–200 rounds of the correct caliber for your firearm.
· Eye protection: Safety glasses suitable for shooting.
· Hearing protection: Earplugs, earmuffs, or both.
· Closed-toe shoes: No sandals or open footwear.
· Appropriate shooting attire: Comfortable clothing suitable for the weather and range conditions; avoid low-cut tops and loose clothing that could catch hot brass.
Recommended Items
· Drinking water or other nonalcoholic beverages.
· Snacks or a packed lunch, depending on class length.
· Sunscreen.
· Insect repellent.
· Folding chair.
· Hat with a brim.
· Weather-appropriate gloves.
· Personal first-aid supplies and any necessary medications.
· Notebook and pen for class notes.
· Cleaning cloth or small firearm maintenance kit.
· Any other personal necessities that will help you stay comfortable throughout the day.
Important Reminders
Arrive with all firearms unloaded, secured in an appropriate case, and stored separately from ammunition unless your instructor provides different lawful instructions.
